Originally built in 1981, the home was fully reimagined in 2024 under the guidance of acclaimed residential architecture firm EastWing Architects and APEX Builders Group to serve as as a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The home site — originally a four-story end-of-row townhouse and a three-story carriage house apartment connected by a simple wooden deck — was artfully unified through a unique infill “connector” to create a bold contemporary home while conforming to local historic district guidelines. A new roof terrace was added to capture views of the city beyond.
