This charming beach bungalow on Bald Head Island, North Carolina was ravaged by Hurricane Florence and left in tatters upon its stilts.

Restored in collaboration with acclaimed residential architect J.E. Schram, the home was brought back to life and made better than it had ever been with the addition of thoughtful elements and details throughout.

With large, new windows by Marvin and expanses of glazed doors facing the ocean, this charming beach home brings the outdoors in from every angle.

Throughout the interior living spaces of the home, a soft, creamy palette on differing patterns of wood-plank walls allows for an open connection while defining them with their own individual character elements. The addition of a fireplace adds another touch of warmth to the charming living room. Five bedroom suites welcome guests year round in gracious comfort, while the upstairs family room encourages game nights, movies, and star gazing.
