Completed in 2018 under the guidance of acclaimed design-build firm GreenSpur and Katina Megas Interiors, this custom home leverages a medley of textural materials, natural light, and the breathtaking surroundings to create a unique and inviting retreat in the heart of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.

Inspired by the traditional Virginia farmhouse, a modern “slice” cuts through the home to frame a lap pool, fire pit, and stunning views of nearby Shenandoah National Park.

The grain silo — which is connected via a glass and steel hyphen to a single level communal living space — features an art gallery on the entry level, a living room with roof deck on the second level, and a bedroom on the third level. The home’s primary living space features white oak flooring, a chef’s kitchen, and a covered walk-out porch.
